Appointment Reminders

To help you keep track of your appointments, we provide the following reminders:

  • Email reminders are sent five days before your scheduled appointment.
  • Text message reminders are sent two days prior to your appointment.

Please ensure we have your most up to date contact details to avoid missing these important notifications.

Cancellation or Rescheduling by the Practice

We make every effort to keep scheduled appointments. However, in unavoidable circumstances, we may need to cancel or reschedule. If this occurs:

  • We will contact you as soon as possible to explain the reason for the change.
  • At the time of contact, we will offer the next available appointment that suits your schedule.

Cancellations or Missed Appointments by Patients

We kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This notice period applies to working days only (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM).

If an appointment is missed without notice, Blandy House reserves the right to apply a fee to your account. We will usually follow up by phone or in writing to understand the reason, and to inform you of any charges applied. We recognize that unexpected situations, such as illness or emergencies, may arise, and we will take circumstances into account.
